THE RESORT OF FLAINE
In the heart of Haute-Savoie, located at 1600 meters of altitude and between the lake Léman and Mont Blanc, at 1 hour of the airport of Geneva Cointrin and Annecy, the station of Flaine is one of the great fields of the ski in Rhone-Alps area.
The resort was built in 1968 by the architect Marcel Breuer, he constructed a whole of buildings known as "integrated", on the initiative of the promoter Marc Boisonnas.The building "Bételgueuse" one of the first buildings is built in 1966, with its shapes in diamond points, it is classified as architectural heritage, just like its neighbor the Hotel of Flaine.
